For Local Tourists, Taman Nasional Komodo is not as famous as Bali Island , or Bunaken National Park . But, For foreign tourists, The Komodo National Park is very fascinating place. It is one of the most diverse place on planet earth. The Goal of the park was to protect the "Dragon Komodo" and its habitat, anyhow, now, it is not only to protect the dragon komodo but also the entire biodiversity on that park, both Marine and terrestrial.

Komodo national Park has 3 main islands, Komodo Island, Rinca Island, and Padar Island , and other smaller islands. It is home for 32 mammals, 128 birds, 37 reptiles species. And, also home for 1000 fishes and 253 coral reef species, and 70 sponges species., there are also some turtle species and shark species. We can imagine for how wonderful the Marine park in Comodo. Below some pictures that portray the remarkable Komodo National park. ( I am doubtless that you imagine how pleasurable the diving site there, remember you should have diving certificate before exploring the marine park.
